Instituto Nacional de Estatística - Housing construction costs remain at 1.4% - August 2018
The annual change rate of the Construction cost index for new housing was 1.4% in August, the same as in July. The price index measuring the cost of regular maintenance and repair of housing increased 2.7% in relation to the same period of the last year, 0.3 p.p. above the previous month.
Instituto Nacional de Estatística - Housing value increased to 1,196 Euros per square meter - August 2018
The average value of bank appraisals on housing reached €1,196 per square meter in August, €9 more than in the previous month. This represents a 0.8% increase compared to July and a year-on-year growth rate of 6.6%.

Instituto Nacional de Estatística - House price increased 11.2% - 2nd Quarter 2018
The House Price Index (HPI) increased 11.2% compared to the same period of 2017, 1.0 percentage point (p.p.) less than in the previous quarter. This result ended a period of five consecutive quarters in which the HPI recorded growing annual rates of change. Price increases were more pronounced in the case of existing dwellings, with this residential property category showing a 12.6% increase, twice the one observed for new dwellings (6.3%).

In August 2018, the amount under management of real estate investment funds (FII), special real estate investment funds (FEII) and real estate asset management funds (FUNGEPI) amounted to 10,890.5 million euros, plus 31.2 million million (0.29%) than in July.
