The municipality is preparing to survey existing tourist accommodation and, depending on the result, create quotas that prevent the opening of new units in the most overburdened areas of the city, Eco is the result of agreement PS / Bloco de Esquerda.

The agreement signed between the PS and the Bloco de Esquerda for governance in the Lisbon City Council provides for the definition of a maximum capacity of hotel units in the city, with the aim of reserving more offer for permanent housing and, therefore, the chamber will to impose a brake on the opening of new hotel units, the news website Eco said on Wednesday.
