A PS bill under discussion in Parliament provides for the portability of real estate appraisals performed by banks in the context of credit applications. For consumers it means that they will not have to pay for a new evaluation if they want to order from another institution.
Nowadays, consumers who are in a process of choosing a bank to apply for a mortgage loan are required to pay several assessments to the same property even within the same time horizon. In order to put an end to this obligation and to make the market more transparent, the PS parliamentary group presented a bill in Parliament to promote the portability of evaluations.
