PS will present a proposed exemption of IMI to associations responsible for building houses for about 800 families.

The mayor of Porto will discuss, on Thursday, the possible support that may be given by the municipality to the associations of residents of the city. The issue was raised at the last meeting by the CDU, and should return already at the next meeting of the council, with the PS to present a proposal for these entities to be exempt from paying the Municipal Property Tax (IMI).
