The implicit interest rate on mortgage loans recorded an increase of 0.2 basis points (p.b.) in December, compared to the previous month, which stood at 1.019%. The amount of average outstanding capital increased by EUR 44 to EUR 51 690 and the average overdue premium remained at EUR 239.

In 2017, the average annual interest rate for total housing loans stood at 1,020%, a value of 7.9 bp. less than the previous year. The average outstanding capital decreased by 224 euros in 2017 to 51,572 euros, and the average annual installment due remained at 238 euros.
