The "financialisation" of urban housing is imposing small typologies on rehabilitated buildings. Architects call for rehabilitation care and argue that it must be possible to return to these fractions when the tourism boom slows down. The Government's strategy, which is currently under public consultation and advocates a "New Generation of Housing Policies", advocates "promoting the rehabilitation of buildings" and stimulating "the rental market for permanent housing" in urban centers.

It comes at a time when the dynamics of rehabilitation are on the rise and the setting of fires on the market as well. However, these homes are not for long-term rental, but rather for tourism and local accommodation. And the typologies that are being placed, almost always of minimal dimensions, to insist on the T0 and T1, also seems to adapt little to the return of the families to the centers of the cities. And those who seek permanent housing come into great difficulty.
