Decree-Law no. 150/2017 of December 6

In the XXI Constitutional Government Program, priority is given to the adoption of a New Generation of Housing Policies, in which, inter alia, a link is made between the promotion of the rehabilitation of the building and the dynamization of the rental market for permanent purposes in urban centers, with a view to ensuring the effective use of buildings and encouraging the diversity of uses and demographic, social and economic balance in urban contexts.
