In the first six months of the year, the real estate sector created 20 thousand new jobs. Next year, the number of professionals should continue to grow

The numbers have several sources, but all confirm the same: the national real estate sector is experiencing one of its best moments since the crisis, with a visible impact on job creation. Luís Lima, president of APEMIP - Association of Professionals and Real Estate Mediation Companies in Portugal, is advancing round numbers when he says that in Portugal there are currently 3,500 mediation companies and the sector has made it possible in the first six months of this year to create 20,000 new jobs of work. The JLL consulting firm confirms in its last "Market Pulse" a growth acceleration of the national real estate market, in the third quarter of this year. A dynamic that is transversal to housing, retail and hotels and which assured the consultant a growth of its activity in double digits.
