Year-on-year increase in bank valuation of houses in October was 5.6%. In relation to the previous month, September, it was 0.5%, to 1 141 euros

The valuations are made in connection with the granting of housing loans, reaching in October the average value of 1 141 euros per square meter, 0.5% more than in the previous month.

Looking at the type of property, the average value of the bank valuations of the houses registered a monthly increase of 1%, and the apartments a null variation compared to the one verified in September. At the regional level, the highest monthly increases were recorded in Madeira (1.7%) and in the Algarve (1.5%). The only decline was in the Azores (-0.5%).
