Banks continue to increase the value of home valuations in Portugal. The price per square meter rose 6 euros in October.

The average value of the banking valuation of housing in Portugal increased in October to 1,141 euros per square meter (euros / m2), which represents an increase of 6 euros, or 0.5%, over the previous month. In comparison with October last year, growth was 5.6%, slightly accelerating from September (5.5%) and the strongest since March of this year.

According to data published this morning by the INE, the price per square meter is the highest since May 2011.
