Dinheiro Vivo - Lisbon will continue to pay minimum IMI and to take off the IRS in 2018

The City Council of Lisbon presented its budget proposal for 2018. The citizens will continue to pay the minimum rate of IMI

The fiscal policy of the Lisbon City Council for next year will remain. Families living in the municipality of Lisbon will continue to pay the minimum IMI (Municipal Property Tax) rate (0.3%) in 2018 and receive an IRS discount of 2.5% (rate to be applied on collection of IRS). "We have the maximum ambition of stability," said João Paulo Saraiva, Finance Councilor at the executive branch, at the public presentation of the proposed budget for 2018 on Wednesday.
