The Government plans to extend the incentive program to accessible rents also to those who rent rooms to values below that charged by the real estate market.

This incentive of the Government extends the tax exemptions already announced for those who rent properties at affordable prices. Also renting rooms or parts of a house at values 20% below the average price of the local market will give right to fewer taxes, according to the Jornal de Notícias in its printed edition, on Tuesday.
