The Spanish state sold 7% of bank intervened Bankia for 818.30 million euros, reducing to 60.63% its participation in that entity, according to information published today in the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Bankia was one of the entities most affected by the severe crisis in the Spanish real estate sector, which entailed the banking fit of more than 180 billion euros in toxic assets.
