In the second quarter of 2017, the median price increased by 15.1% in Lisbon, while in the rest of the country the rise was 6.4%. The parishes of Santo António and Misericórdia registered the highest prices.

The price of houses in Lisbon rose by 15.1% between the second quarter of 2016 and the same period in 2017 - the highest in the country - and this is also the city of the country where the median price of housing is (2231 euros / square meter), well above the average of 896 euros in the rest of the country. These are some of the conclusions that can be drawn from the statistics of house prices at the local level that the National Statistics Institute (INE) released on Tuesday for the first time.
